Temporary Parking Arrangements
Construction of a multi-level car park on the Adelaide Entertainment Centre site will get underway in the week commencing Monday 22 October 2012, which will temporarily restrict parking capacity on the Adelaide Entertainment Centre site until its scheduled completion mid 2013. In the mean time, Concertgoers and Park & Ride users are advised to consider the following temporary arrangements to avoid inconvenience when visiting the Adelaide Entertainment Centre:

Multi-level Car Park Construction Update
Car parking on the Adelaide Entertainment Centre site will be restricted to approximately 250 spaces only throughout construction – entry via Mary Street, Manton Street or Adam Street only. $12 parking fee applies for event parking.
Additional parking of 280 spaces will temporarily be available at Drayton Street, Bowden – refer to map below (approximately 400m walk to Centre). $10 parking fee applies for event parking.

Furthermore, additional parking for approximately 200 vehicles may also be available for night-time events staged at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre which is accessible from Manton or Orsmond Streets, Hindmarsh (located approximately 500m west of the Centre – refer to map below). $10 parking fee applies for event parking.

Various neighbouring properties provide privately owned and managed car parking during the staging of Adelaide Entertainment Centre concerts/events. Parking fees apply with rates determined by private owners. The following properties regularly provide car parking for Adelaide Entertainment Centre night-time events:

Due to the limited availability of car parking, concertgoers are encouraged to park in the City and catch the tram to and from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Tram services between the City and the Adelaide Entertainment Centre are free of charge and services operate with a good level of frequency. A tram station is located immediately in front of the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on the Port Road median strip. Click here for tram timetable details.
Other options include using taxi services, or have someone deliver and collect you.
Up to 250 spaces only will be available to Park & Ride users on the Adelaide Entertainment Centre site during construction of the multi-level car park. Additional parking of 280 spaces will temporarily be available at Drayton Street, Bowden which is approximately a 250m walk to the tram – refer to map below. $2 parking fee applies (via pay and display vending machines) at both locations from 6am to strictly 6.30pm on non-event days.

Construction on the new car park commenced 22 October 2012. The new car park is expected to be complete mid 2013 subject to weather and other factors – current construction program forecasts completion by 15 July 2013.
Upon completion, the new car park will provide an additional 600 car parking spaces on the Adelaide Entertainment Centre site to give a total site car park capacity of more than 1,300 vehicles. The Park & Ride fee on the Adelaide Entertainment Centre site will increase to $4 upon the new multi-level car park opening.
