FUNCTION AREAS

The Adelaide Entertainment Centre’s function rooms range in size and style, whether it’s a corporate dinner, banquet, seminar, trade show, cocktail party, meeting or wedding reception.

ENTRY – THE ORB

The Adelaide Entertainment Centre features perhaps the most spectacular entry statement of any venue in Australia. The large dome structure, named The Orb, will welcome your guests in a breathtaking fashion.  At night, The Orb structure comes alight in a kaleidoscope of colours and patterns. The entry also incorporates a VIP drop off area for functions to ensure your guests feel special.

ARENA

The magnitude of the Arena makes it a popular choice for larger banquets, conferences or trade shows. The Arena floor area can be modified to fit your requirements, expanding up to 2,730 square meters. For a spectacular banquet from 500 – 1000 guests, the Arena will be fully carpeted with dance floor and staging or is ideal for an impressive cocktail party for up to 2000 people. A large video wall on entry to the Arena and state of the art rear projection screens suspended from the roof provide further potential for branding or theming your function. The Arena also gives clients various stage location options providing you with maximum flexibility to achieve the look and feel you are seeking.

The Arena is also used for conferences for up to 2,300 people. A proscenium arch curtain and motorized side wall curtains enable the room to be adjusted to the audience size, and new contemporary auditorium seating, mood lighting and follow spots create an impressive, comfortable ambience.

THEATRE

The newly built Theatre boasts a modern interior and provides an exciting array of audio visual technology and versatility for your function.   Catering for up to 700 banquet guests or 1500 for cocktails, the Theatre can also be split into two areas, ideal for a conference and then dinner or a seminar followed by cocktails.  Alternatively, dividing the room provides two sound proof alternatives for smaller functions from 240-360 guests.   The Theatre adjoins a raised Terrace which provides a stunning outdoor entertaining area which will complement your function. It also features a VIP Lounge on the mezzanine level, which is ideal for entertaining high profile dignitaries or others that you wish to make feel extra special.

STAR ROOM

Overlooking a large courtyard, The Star Room allows natural light and great versatility for more intimate meetings, dinners, cocktail parties and conferences. Its innovative design and warm appeal make it perfectly suited to special functions including wedding receptions, seminars, networking forums or dinners for up to 220 in banquet style or 350 for cocktails with even more guests if incorporating the courtyard area. The Star Room offers views of The Orb which adds to the stunning ambience of this space.

THE LOUNGES AND SUITES

The Adelaide Entertainment Centre has two very stylishly designed Lounges and Suites that are suited to smaller meetings or break out rooms to complement larger functions.  The Lounge and Suite facilities provide a perfect space for VIP cocktail parties or meetings for between 10-60 guests.

REVELATIONS CHAPEL

The Adelaide Entertainment Centre’s Revelations Chapel on site (circa 1854) has been fully renovated maintaining the charm of the original Chapel and making it the perfect venue for a wedding ceremony or a unique function area for any special event.  Ideal for exclusive dinners, cocktail parties, small seminars and also perfect for art exhibitions or musical recitals with the capacity to seat 120 guests.   The adjoining courtyard is suitable for a marquee to host your wedding reception or any other outdoor entertainment.
